The Descanso Gardens Festival of Flowers is going on now. April and May are the most vibrant months at Descanso, with Azaleas, Camellias, Roses, Irises, and wildflowers all in bloom. Plus, now is a wonderful time to catch a glimpse of migratory birds. Grosbeaks, flycatchers, and swallows should be visible, and keep an eye out for the bright blue Lazuli Bunting. Bring your camera.
